Solution Advisor - Scheduling - Remote

Overview

Blue Water Thinking is seeking a Solution Advisor - Scheduling to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Electronic Health Record Modernization Integration Office (EHRM-IO). This role provides Cerner expertise, support, and knowledge transfer sessions to the National/VISN Councils/local workshops, and VA solution experts.

In Short

• Bring the VA-assigned solution experts up to speed in their respective areas with solution knowledge.
• Support translation of Cerner capabilities and nomenclature to enable VA understanding in partnership with the Solution Expert.
• Review and help the Solution Management Administrators (SMA) with the task orders and deliverables.
• Provide support to the SMAs and members by assisting in current state workflow/requirements analysis.
• Assist in future state workflow design and diagrams; identify potential risks and pain points.
• Assist with management, escalation, and resolution of trouble tickets and change requests.
• Assist in reporting requirements/mapping/identification.
• Assist in the development of EHRM testing scripts and support all EHRM testing types.
• Review and assist in managing issues and risks with mitigation plans.
• Work with Oracle Health and VA in build/design/workflow changes.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional work experience.
• Experience managing Information Technology related projects.
• Experience in tracking costs, schedule and performance progress.
• Able to identify and mitigate risks.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business or related scientific/technical discipline.
