Instructional Designer - Remote

Overview

The Instructional Designer will support a utilities client undergoing a critical transformation initiative aimed at integrating people, processes, and technology. This role involves working closely with the Organizational Change Management (OCM) team to develop, implement, and refine training content for organizational change, focusing on system implementations, process optimization, and alignment across teams.

In Short

• Work collaboratively with the OCM Lead and key stakeholders to create comprehensive training content.
• Develop and deliver engaging eLearning modules and blended learning solutions.
• Create training content specifically designed to support organizational changes.
• Upload and manage content on the Moodle learning management system.
• Collect feedback from stakeholders to assess the effectiveness of learning solutions.
• Work closely with OCM teams to ensure alignment between training initiatives and organizational change goals.
• Track training progress and completion rates, providing regular updates to leadership.
• Identify training-related risks and recommend solutions.
• Provide a comprehensive report summarizing training activities at the end of the engagement.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in instructional design.
• Strong experience with Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, and Moodle.
• Experience working within an organizational change management framework.
• Experience in the utilities industry is highly preferred.
• Proven experience in developing training content that supports process improvements.
• Strong ability to build relationships with cross-functional teams.
• Experience working with both agile and waterfall project delivery frameworks.
