Data Engineer - Remote

Overview

Blue Orange Digital is seeking a Data Engineer to join our team to help build up our data engineering practice, supporting modern data technologies and cloud platforms.

In Short

• Fully remote position.
• Work with data teams to design, build, and deploy data platforms.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, GCP, and automation tools.
• Develop high-performance data pipelines using Databricks and Spark.
• Apply software development principles including CI/CD.
• Support both Windows and Linux environments.

Requirements

• BA/BS in Computer Science or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in data platforms.
• Proficient in Python, SQL, and Bash scripting.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments.
• Strong Linux system administration skills.
• Knowledge of Docker and configuration management.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
