Site Reliability Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), you will play a critical role supporting our Blockdaemon team by ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems and services. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain robust and resilient infrastructure solutions in a Multi-Cloud environment.

• Collaborate with software engineering teams to design scalable and resilient systems.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code for multi-cloud deployments.
• Develop automation tools to streamline deployment and monitoring.
• Configure monitoring systems to detect and mitigate issues proactively.
• Respond to and resolve critical incidents and perform root cause analysis.
• Analyze system performance metrics and propose optimizations.

• Document system configurations and share knowledge with team members.

Requirements

• Proven experience with cloud platforms: GCP, AWS, Azure.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong Architectural & Security Mindset.
• Understanding of Linux/Unix systems administration and networking.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
• 5+ years of experience with infrastructure-as-code.
• Experience in SOC 2 certified companies.
