As a Senior Software Engineer at Blockchain.com, you will be instrumental in building financial and crypto-native products, services, and APIs while leading technical discussions and advocating best engineering practices.

In Short

• Part of the Brokerage - Payments team enabling blockchain customers to deposit and withdraw.
• Develop and integrate APIs from payment providers and banks.
• Resolve customer issues in collaboration with the FinOps team.
• Advocate best practices and code quality.
• Optimize systems for scalability and performance.
• Ensure security through advanced encryption schemes.
• Work within interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality software.

Requirements

• Proficient in at least one programming language.
• 7+ years of experience in building production-ready distributed backend systems.
• Experience with JVM-based languages (Java, Kotlin, Scala).
• Focus on providing excellent customer experience.
• High levels of test coverage and effective monitoring.
• Exposure to technologies like Kafka, PostgreSQL, Redis.
• Familiarity with tools such as Datadog, Amplitude, Grafana.
• Passion for cryptocurrency.
