In Short

• Design and develop Pluto Connect, an embedded spend management platform.
• Architect and build payment processing and financial reconciliation systems.
• Implement integrations with payment rails and banking APIs.
• Lead development lifecycle from design to deployment.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback.
• Develop a strong understanding of the domain.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a software engineer in payments/fintech.
• Experience with banking and card scheme protocols.
• Experience with third-party APIs and financial services integration.
• Mastery in at least one programming language (Kotlin, Java, Go, Scala, Rust).
• Understanding of relational and non-relational databases.
• Strong grasp of SQL and relational data modeling.
• Experience with API design and development (GraphQL, REST).
• Experience in designing scalable backend systems.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and software design principles.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
