Senior Software Engineer, Payments - Remote

Overview

As a Senior Software Engineer, Payments you will be one of the most senior technical contributors on your team. You will tackle the most difficult technical challenges the team faces spanning both frontend and backend development work.

In Short

• Work on building out a payment processing service for SuperTravel, Super Pay, or Super+.
• Utilize a modern stack featuring React, TypeScript, and Python.
• Predominantly work with React and React Native.
• Use Material-UI and maintain a component library.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and QA.
• Work in an agile, fast-paced environment.
• Focus on supporting career growth for engineers.
• Handle thousands of requests and events per second.
• Ingest over 1TB of data per day.
• Process over $1MM per day in sales.

Requirements

• Experience in frontend and backend development.
• Strong knowledge of React and Python.
• Familiarity with AWS and Gitlab.
• Experience with databases like Postgres and Redis.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Understanding of event-driven architecture.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Datadog.
• Knowledge of analytics tools like Amplitude.
• Experience with data warehousing solutions like Snowflake.
• Ability to mentor junior engineers.
