Senior Accountant, US - Remote

Overview

Blockchain.com is the world's leading software platform for digital assets, and we are expanding our Accounting division. We are looking for a Senior Accountant in Miami to help build the accounting infrastructure and processes that will support our growth.

In Short

• Manage and maintain the general ledger.
• Reconcile bank and cryptocurrency accounts.
• Prepare journal entries for approval.
• Assist with monthly close processes.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and IFRS.
• Support and manage audits.
• Establish internal controls.
• Respond to ad hoc requests.
• Oversee external consultants' work.
• Collaborate with controllers for intercompany reconciliations.

Requirements

• Integrity is essential.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• CPA or Chartered Accountant preferred.
• 2-5 years of accounting/finance experience.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software.
• Interest in the crypto industry.
• Experience in crypto, fintech, or startups preferred.
• International accounting experience is a plus.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work collaboratively.
