Senior Backend Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer with strong experience in .NET Core and a solid understanding of modern backend technologies to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will play a key part in building and maintaining scalable, cloud-based systems with a focus on performance, reliability, and clean architecture.

In Short

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using .NET Core (C#), with some contributions in Python when needed.
• Work with relational and non-relational databases including MS SQL, MySQL, and DynamoDB.
• Contribute to the development and deployment of cloud-native applications using AWS services.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and system design decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions are aligned with business needs and technical best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development, test, and production environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience developing with .NET Core / C#
• Some experience or familiarity with Python.
• Strong knowledge of database design and optimization, particularly with MS SQL, MySQL, and DynamoDB.
• Hands-on experience working with AWS services (e.g., Lambda, EC2, S3, etc.).
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Self-driven, proactive, and able to work independently or as part of a distributed team.
