Data Scientist - AI Performance Optimization - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a Data Scientist to drive performance optimization for our clients AI Engine, tackling complex computational bottlenecks and contributing to the re-engineering of simulation, training, and post-processing pipelines for large-scale industrial AI models.

In Short

• Analyze and optimize AI engine code to remove performance bottlenecks.
• Refactor code into efficient, vectorized operations.
• Diagnose computational inefficiencies related to GPU/TPU.
• Develop solutions for ODE solvers and optimization algorithms.
• Lead root cause analysis for performance limitations.
• Guide memory optimization and data type standardization.
• Document improvements and monitor performance.

Requirements

• Masters in Mathematics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or related field.
• Expertise in matrix decomposition and numerical optimization.
• Strong proficiency in Python and hands-on experience with JAX.
• Exposure to optimization in scientific computing.
• Familiarity with ensemble methods and memory management.
• Ability to communicate technical findings effectively.
