Senior Director, Digital Operations & Strategy - Remote

Overview

Blavity Inc. is looking for a Senior Director, Digital Operations & Strategy. This position leads the end-to-end strategic direction of branded and non-branded production across Blavity.com, 21Ninety, Travel Noire, and Home & Texture properties. The Senior Director of Digital Operations & Strategy will lead and set creative vision for branded campaigns, working closely with Editorial and Client Services to create best in class custom content for our partners.

In Short

• Lead the ideation, development, and execution of multi-channel branded campaigns
• Oversee the creation and optimization of organic content strategies across various digital properties
• Drive innovation in digital storytelling and content formats while maintaining brand consistency
• Collaborate with Client Services and Sales teams to come up with the best possible creative solutions
• Represent Blavity on client meetings to build and grow client relationships
• Own approvals for creative assets and campaign deliverables
• Collaborate with senior leadership to develop organic content strategy
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to produce quality and engaging content
• Improve existing content production workflows by integrating new tools or technology
• Leverage platforms such as Tableau and GA4 to analyze content performance

Requirements

• Bachelors in Business Management, Economic, Communications or Marketing
• 8+ years in a digital agency role or digital media company
• Significant experience creating marketing/advertising campaigns
• 5+ years managing people/teams (preferred)
• Fluent in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Asana, and/or comparable project management suite

• Annual salary range of $150,000 - $165,000
