Sr Quality Control Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Senior Quality Control Engineer will ensure that products are designed, built, and produced in accordance with customer specifications and quality requirements. This position is typically offered full time and reports to QA Lead. Those well-suited to this career enjoy problem-solving and working collaboratively with others.

• Perform a variety of tests including smoke, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Report clear bugs and track them using tools like DevOps.
• Generate automation scripts and increase automation.
• Collaborate with QC, development, and business groups.
• Create detailed and comprehensive test cases.
• Send test results reports after confirmation with QA lead.
• Build project documentation such as user manuals.
• Participate in full life cycle development.
• Conduct UAT and performance testing.
• Mentor and train junior quality control engineers.

Requirements

• Strong technical and programming/test automation skills.
• Experience in static testing and problem-solving.
• Ability to identify root causes of quality problems.
• Experience in architecting automated test strategies.
• Ability to develop, maintain, and enhance test automation frameworks.
• Experience in executing and reporting on planned tests.
• Ability to assist development with replicating and debugging problems.
• Strong leadership and mentorship skills.
