Sr. Quality Control Engineer (Manual & Automation) - Remote

Overview

The Senior Quality Control Engineer will ensure that products are designed, built, and produced in accordance with customer specifications and quality requirements. This position is typically offered full time and reports to QA Lead. Those well-suited to this career enjoy problem-solving and working collaboratively with others.

• Perform a variety of tests including smoke, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Report bugs and track them using tools like DevOps.
• Generate automation scripts and increase automation.
• Collaborate with QC, development, and business groups.
• Create detailed test cases and review them.
• Build project documentation such as user manuals.
• Participate in full life cycle development.
• Conduct UAT and performance testing.
• Mentor junior quality control engineers.
• Identify root causes of quality problems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science or information technology.
• Professional certification such as ISTQB-CTFL or ISTQB-CTAL.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools like Selenium Web Driver.
• Experience in manual testing.
• Knowledge of testing phases and approaches.
• Programming experience for writing tests.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Hands-on experience with SQL commands.
