Senior MDR Analyst (Night Shift) - Remote

Overview

As a Senior MDR Analyst at Blackpoint Cyber, you will be part of a leading cybersecurity team focused on threat hunting, detection, and remediation technology.

In Short

• Analyze and evaluate network and system events in a 24x7 Security Operation Center (SOC).
• Collaborate with other analysts to investigate emerging cybersecurity threats.
• Develop incident analysis reports and work with various business units.
• Design and build operational processes to improve SOC efficiency.
• Provide actionable threat and vulnerability analysis for customer environments.
• Build test lab environments for researching emerging techniques.
• Review sandbox technologies for additional indicators of compromise.

Requirements

• Five years of experience in an information security role.
• Experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC).
• Two years of experience with triaging endpoint events.
• Deep knowledge of threat indicators in a Windows environment.
• Understanding of Windows, Linux, or OSX.
• Familiarity with ELK stack and scripting with Powershell, Python, and Go.
• Familiarity with AWS services and Azure/M365.
• Experience in leadless threat hunting analysis.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
