Junior Backend Engineer - Post-Booking - Remote

BlaBlaCar is the world’s leading community-based travel app enabling 27 million members a year to carpool or travel by bus in 21 countries. We are looking for a Junior Backend Engineer to join our Post-Booking full-stack squad to enhance our customers’ post-purchase experience.

In Short

• Join a team of 6 engineers in the Post-Booking squad.
• Work on Java microservices for the BlaBlaCar platform.
• Participate in the entire application lifecycle from design to deployment.

Requirements

• Experience in Java and frameworks like Spring and JUnit.
• Understanding of service-oriented architecture.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
• Good communication skills and team player mentality.
• Able to adapt communication to non-technical stakeholders.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to improve team processes.
• Ability to focus on technical quality and time-to-market.
• Open to learning and sharing knowledge.
• Fluency in English is mandatory.
