BlaBlaCar is the world’s leading community-based travel app enabling 27 million members a year to carpool or travel by bus in 21 countries. Our team of 800 employees counts over 50 nationalities and is spread across our 5 global offices, 30% working fully remotely.

In Short

• Drive the design of the multimodal passenger experience at BlaBlaCar.
• Lead hands-on design work, owning complex projects across the entire passenger journey.
• Support and grow a small team of two designers.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Research, and Marketing teams.
• Define and solve user problems using insights from data and research.
• Design and iterate end-to-end flows using the design system.
• Foster a culture of design excellence and continuous learning.
• Manage, mentor, and inspire a team of product designers.
• Refine solutions based on performance data and user feedback.
• Communicate effectively with various stakeholders.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience designing user-centric solutions.
• At least 2 years in a management or mentoring role.
• Proficient in Figma.
• Strong ability to simplify complex journeys into intuitive experiences.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Self-starter with high autonomy.
• Fluent in English.
