Overview

As a Senior Drupal Engineer at Bixal, you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining the VA.gov Facilities and Public Website ecosystem, focusing on Drupal-based applications that serve Veterans and their families.

In Short

• Develop and maintain a decoupled Drupal CMS for VA.gov.
• Architect scalable, high-performance solutions integrating with Next.js and GraphQL.
• Implement structured content models and workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 4+ years of experience.
• Proficiency in Drupal 9/10 and custom module development.
• Experience with decoupled architectures and front-end frameworks.
• Strong understanding of GraphQL, REST APIs, and JSON API.
• Familiarity with federal digital service guidelines.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of containerized environments and cloud platforms.
• Strong troubleshooting and optimization skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust security clearance.
