Trading Product Designer (Web) - Remote

Overview

This is an opportunity to join a fast-growing team to develop and manage the overall user experience for our hero product, the BitMEX trading platform. As a Product Designer, your first key task is to elevate the web experience for our traders. You'll need to work closely with product managers, engineers and the commercial teams to roll out new features and improve the customer experience. Also, you'll have the opportunity to expand your role as we increase our product offerings.

In Short

• Translate product requirements and user flows into user-friendly web interfaces.
• Develop high-fidelity mockups, interactive prototypes, and detailed UI specifications.
• Champion the principles of web design for optimized experience across devices.
• Design intuitive and innovative gesture-based interactions.
• Stay at the forefront of web UI trends and advocate for their application.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering team to refine UI elements.
• Present design solutions and prototypes to the broader Retail Product team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of UX/UI experience in trading, financial products, or fintech.
• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field.
• Experience in web design is essential.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Exceptional visual design skills with a sharp eye for detail.
• Derivative trading knowledge is highly desirable.
