National Field System Engineer - Remote

Overview

The National FSE position (NFSE) is responsible for providing on-site Installation, Preventive, Corrective, and Routine Maintenance for bioMerieux customers on an as-needed basis, utilizing appropriate tools and test equipment. This position requires someone who is a self-starter with the ability to deliver a best-in-class customer experience while working remotely without direct supervision.

• Responsible for on-site installation and maintenance for bioMerieux customers.
• Requires extensive travel, approximately 80% within the US.
• Manage customer service requests and maintain a planned itinerary.
• Utilize electro-mechanical and computer skills for diagnostics.
• Develop rapport with customers and promote service agreements.
• Attend product training sessions in Durham and St. Louis.
• Accurately complete service work orders and quality assurance checklists.
• Maintain company issued vehicle and tools.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing for customer experience enhancement.
• Participate in trade shows as needed.

Requirements

• Technical school or military training in Electronic Technology or Computer Science.
• Biomedical training or an Associate’s degree in engineering is a plus.
• Experience with electro-mechanical, electronic, and computer systems.
• Strong communication skills for customer interaction.
• Ability to travel extensively and manage time effectively.
