Manager, Data Engineering - Remote

Overview

The Manager, Data Engineering role will lead our data engineering team in building and maintaining high quality data assets, tools, and processes to empower internal and external customers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data infrastructure and analytics roles
• BA/BS in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field; MS preferred
• Strong foundation in data modeling and effective schemas
• Experience with big data technologies such as Spark and Kafka
• Proficiency in SQL and ETL processes
• Understanding of cloud-based data solutions (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Proficiency with reporting tools like Qlik or QuickSight
• Effective communication with technical team members and executives
• Ability to resolve challenges in communication and data modeling
• Experience with data/privacy laws in healthcare (e.g. HIPAA)
