Technical Product Owner (Cybersecurity Platforms) - Remote

Overview

Binary Defense is searching for a Technical Product Owner to play a key role in executing the product roadmap and bringing the product vision to market. The successful candidate will act as the voice of the customer while working daily with the Scrum Master and Engineering teams to help scope, structure, refine, and execute product deliverables.

• Partner with cross-functional teams to drive products and features from concept to launch in cybersecurity.
• Translate product vision into well-defined product requirements and user stories.
• Prioritize and maintain the product backlog, balancing vision and stakeholder requirements.
• Work closely with Product Management in planning activities.
• Track progress against business goals and product priorities.
• Define and maintain metrics to measure post-launch product performance.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales on go-to-market plans.
• Act as a source of product information during execution phases.
• Ensure continuous delivery of user value.
• Help make the world a safer place for customers and partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar.
• At least 3 years in a Product Owner role.
• Strong technical background in cybersecurity.
• Understanding of Agile principles.
• Experience in decomposing complex product requirements.
• Track record of delivering complex technology solutions.
• Background in launching enterprise software.
• Experience working in a remote environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Software development experience at the operating system level is desired.
