Overview

BigCommerce is looking for a Lead Infrastructure Engineer to enhance and maintain its Cloud Development Environment, enabling engineers to work more efficiently.

In Short

• Join the Delivery Acceleration Team at BigCommerce.
• Maintain and improve the Cloud Development Environment.
• Manage cloud hosted VMs in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Work with various technologies including Terraform, Puppet, and CircleCI.
• Educate engineers on tool usage and process improvements.
• Document technical aspects and user flows of features.
• Collaborate with a distributed team globally.
• Assist in defining the team’s roadmap.
• Respond to support requests for the development environment.
• Maintain Ruby and Golang services related to infrastructure.

Requirements

• Experience in building complex products.
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Knowledgeable in modern technologies and tools.
