Head of Procurement - Collections and Specialist Services - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a visionary Head of Divisional Procurement to lead our Collections and Specialist Services embedded procurement team. This is a highly strategic and influential role, that sits on the divisional management team, where you will manage a team of procurement professionals, build and strengthen key business relationships within the division, and lead the execution of the groupwide strategy across three critical categories: Disposal, Containers & Bins, and Facility Management.

• Develop and implement performance-stretching procurement strategies aligned with company objectives.
• Provide high-quality ‘Business-Partner’ style service to the division.
• Lead, manage, and motivate a team of procurement professionals.
• Collaborate with other divisions and central functions to embed procurement best practices.
• Own relationships with divisional management to create joint procurement strategies.
• Represent the business in industry events and stay updated on emerging trends.
• Provide expert procurement advice to senior leadership.
• Develop and implement KPIs to monitor procurement effectiveness.
• Build strong relationships with key suppliers and negotiate contracts.
• Accountable for contribution to EBITDA and compliance targets.

Requirements

• 5 years experience in a procurement leadership role.
• Experience as a member of a leadership team.
• Proven experience in developing procurement strategies.
• Strong negotiation skills and supplier relationship management.
• In-depth knowledge of procurement and sourcing processes.
