Overview

The Field Engineer, Customer Support role involves commissioning, modifying, troubleshooting, and supporting equipment at customer locations, ensuring high-quality work while traveling up to 80% of the time.

• Commission automated controls for equipment.
• Design and execute on-site acceptance tests.
• Create and review technical documentation.
• Provide technical interface between customer and Project Manager.
• Remote technical support for customers.
• Interpret circuit diagrams for installation and troubleshooting.
• Write and troubleshoot Ladder and STL PLC programs.
• Interface with IT team during commissioning.
• Maintain professional relationships with customers.
• Communicate activities to appropriate personnel.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of Electro/Mechanical experience.
• Ability to interpret circuit diagrams.
• Ability to troubleshoot Electro-Mechanical Systems.
• Experience with Siemens S7 and Allen Bradley.
• Basic database functionality.
• Remote software handling skills.
• Excellent time management and detail-oriented skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License.
