Senior ML/AI Platform Engineer - Remote

In Short

• Design, prototype and productionize scalable AI/machine learning models
• Set up best practices in machine learning and direct the machine learning platform
• Develop frameworks, pipelines, libraries, utilities, and tools for ML tasks
• Collaborate with ML engineers and data scientists to optimize ML pipelines
• Work with product managers to gather requirements for ML models
• Build a model deployment platform for new models
• Create end-to-end reusable pipelines from data acquisition to model output
• Mentor junior data scientists in deploying models
• Design & Build ML solutions for BetterHelp

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in machine learning platform systems
• Experience with autoscaling and load balancing
• Solid understanding of distributed computing
• Superb written and oral communication skills
• Experience integrating AI/ML models in production
• Strong background in shell or bash scripting
• Experience building CICD pipelines
• Experience with infrastructure as service tools like Terraform
• Experience with AWS services like Lambda, ECS, and Sagemaker
• Prior experience in production deployments on AWS
• Experience with Docker
• Strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals
• Experience writing data pipeline and ML libraries
• Willingness to learn new technologies
• Willingness to mentor junior ML engineers
• Comfortable in a high-growth, fast-paced environment
