• Join BetterHelp as the first Director, Corporate Counsel for international expansion.
• Support BetterHelp's legal needs as it scales operations outside of the US.
• Manage various areas of law including contracts, litigation, and compliance.
• Advise on non-US data privacy requirements and health regulations.
• Negotiate and draft various legal agreements with a focus on data security.
• Work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with a diverse team of professionals.
• Fluency in English and legal experience in key European markets required.
• Remote work with occasional travel to the Mountain View, CA office.

Requirements

• Fluency in English and legal experience in key European markets.
• Law degree with active licenses to practice law.
• 7-10 years of relevant legal experience in consumer business or healthcare.
• Experience with privacy and regulatory inquiries is highly desirable.
