In Short

• Lead underwriting efforts for Freddie Mac products.
• Collaborate with key business divisions.
• Ensure adherence to GSE housing underwriting standards.
• Review debt application packages.
• Analyze borrower credit and property information.
• Draft and finalize underwriting submittal packages.
• Support the closing process.
• Provide training and mentorship on GSE housing programs.
• Stay updated on GSE housing programs and legislation.
• Contribute to process improvements.

Requirements

• 5+ years prior experience in a similar position.
• Exceptional credit sense and judgment.
• Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to travel for property inspections and training.
• Valid driver’s license and public transportation access.
• Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.
