Shift Leader - Remote

Overview

The Shift Leader will provide leadership to the shift team, ensuring efficient manufacturing operations while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

In Short

• Act as the first point of contact for manufacturing operations on shift.
• Coordinate daily production requirements based on customer orders.
• Supervise shift technicians to ensure efficient operations.
• Train and develop shift technicians.
• Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods.
• Ensure products meet quality standards.
• Implement cost reduction initiatives.
• Participate in Kaizen events for efficiency improvement.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and safety.
• Work under pressure to manage tight deadlines.

Requirements

• Nitec/Higher Nitec or Diploma in any field.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience in a medical device manufacturing environment is advantageous.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Computer literacy, especially in Microsoft Office.
• Fluent in English.
