Development Scientist I - Remote

Overview

The Development Scientist I plays a crucial role in supporting the operation of the Development Pilot Lab, primarily responsible for building Development and Pilot lots for Verification/Validation studies and transferring them into manufacturing.

• Participate in the development and commercialization of immunoassays.
• Execute experiments, analyze and present conclusions to teams.
• Communicate project status and data generated with cross-functional teams.
• Work in a fast-paced environment and maintain timelines for multiple projects.
• Assist in the production of Development and Pilot lots on a routine basis.
• Act as a liaison between Development and current production.
• Facilitate the transfer process and assist in troubleshooting activities.
• Work on future development project initiatives as project priorities allow.
• Collaborate with development and manufacturing associates for smooth product transfer.
• Report to the Development Supervisor as part of the Reagent Chemistry Development Group.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Life Science (Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology or related science).
• 0+ years of laboratory experience.
• Training in Life Sciences, Laboratory Medicine, or related clinical chemistry experience.
• Knowledge of good laboratory practices and scientific methods.
• Experience in clinical, research, manufacturing, or diagnostic setting is a plus.
• Working knowledge of basic statistical methods.
