Financial Intelligence Unit Lead - Remote

Overview

The Financial Intelligence Unit Lead will be responsible for building and managing a robust FIU program that meets all applicable regulatory requirements, including those of the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations, Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) sanctions programs, and New York State Department of Financial Services (NYS DFS) regulations. This role requires deep expertise in financial crime compliance, strong leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive FIU program.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the FIU.
• Ensure quality and consistency of investigations.
• Maintain adequacy of resourcing and manage a team of analysts.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in regulatory or financial intelligence roles.
• Experience in mitigating financial crime threats at a strategic level.
• Ability to develop efficient solutions to global issues.
• Excellent understanding of the FCC regulatory environment.
• Leadership experience and strategic thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
