HR Assistant to Chief of Staff - Remote

Overview

We’re looking for an organized, detail-oriented HR Assistant to support our Chief of Staff at a fast growing startup. The role will be focused on helping with HR function with day-to-day administrative work, tracking, and coordination. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys keeping systems clean, tasks moving, and projects organized behind the scenes.

In Short

• Maintain and update HR task lists, timelines, and recurring reminders
• Keep HR documentation organized
• Support onboarding and offboarding logistics and checklists
• Help ensure HR processes are followed consistently and on time
• Track HR-related data
• Maintain internal trackers and spreadsheets
• Assist with pulling simple reports and summaries for leadership
• Support ongoing HR projects (policy updates, benefits research, compliance initiatives, internal programs)
• Coordinate with recruiting, finance, and operations as needed
• Act as a point of execution to keep HR initiatives moving
