Forward Deployed ML Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a Forward-Deployed Engineer at Baseten, you will partner with our customers to understand their problems and engineer ML solutions using Baseten’s open-source Truss system.

In Short

• Develop and maintain software systems using general-purpose programming languages, preferably Python.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on AI/ML pipelines.
• Communicate complex technical topics effectively.

Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
• 3+ years of professional work experience.
• Experience with general-purpose programming languages, strong preference for Python.
• Familiarity with AI/ML pipelines and model lifecycle.
• Strong communication skills on technical topics.
• Experience in building or optimizing AI/ML projects.
