Overview

The Market Development Manager, Laboratory Solutions is responsible for shaping and executing the strategic direction of the Lab Automation and Informatics portfolios in the Canadian market, driving differentiation and market growth.

In Short

• Manage product lines including BD Kiestra™, BD Phoenix™, and others.
• Provide inputs into financial budgeting and demand planning.
• Lead the launch process for managed products.
• Identify market trends and customer needs.
• Develop and execute annual marketing plans.
• Support sales planning and customer engagements.
• Ensure the sales team has the necessary tools and training.
• Drive market development activities and build a KOL network.
• Collaborate with global platforms for product development.
• Travel approximately 25% for customer presentations and meetings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or MLT designation.
• 5+ years of experience in the diagnostics industry.
• Strong background in laboratory automation and informatics.
• Exceptional presentation and communication skills.
• Strong analytical mindset and financial acumen.
• Collaborative team player with interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
• Understanding of CLSI & EUCAST guidelines.
• Bilingual English and French is an asset.
