Charge Description Master Consultant - Remote

Overview

This position develops and maintains all patient charges for the organization, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while providing exceptional customer service in a collaborative team environment.

• Responsible for maintaining 40+ chargemasters across various healthcare settings.
• Conducts internal reviews and audits of charging practices.

• Participates in strategic pricing projects.
• Collaborates with various departments and external auditors.
• Strong knowledge of CPT-4/HCPCS and UB04 codes required.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in billing, reimbursement, and/or coding.
• Knowledge of managed care contract compliance.
• Technical knowledge of medical coding required.
• Preferred qualifications include RN or LPN experience and coding certification.
