Overview

The Senior Software Engineer will develop new scalable commercial applications using .NET technology and maintain existing applications while collaborating with a team in an agile environment.

Develop new scalable commercial applications using .NET technology.
Maintain continuity of existing applications.
Work closely with engineers, product managers, and business analysts.
Participate in code reviews and QA testing.
Collaborate on system designs and review designs of others.
Mentor others in development technologies and processes.
Collaborate with leadership and stakeholders to move initiatives forward.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

8+ years of strong professional hands-on .NET experience.
Experience with C#, ASP.Net MVC, Web API, JavaScript, and jQuery.
SQL Server experience, including database queries/design/modeling.
Familiarity with Agile software development.
Desire to learn new technologies/tools as needed.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
Experience in the insurance industry is a plus.
Knowledge of Azure Apps/DevOps and .NET Core/.NET 5+ architecture.
Understanding of OOP, SOLID, DDD, and Microservices.
