The Relationship Manager serves as the primary contact for clients providing world-class client service, technical expertise and proactive risk management.

In Short

  • Provides proactive day-to-day client service by anticipating and evaluating client needs.
  • Responds to client questions and issues in person, via email or by telephone.
  • Reviews client exposures and loss experience along with current coverages.
  • Creates and presents private risk management renewal proposals.
  • Understands and leverages the holistic platform including employee benefits and asset protection.
  • Cultivates strong relationships with insurance company partners.
  • Looks for opportunities to improve the firm and business processes.
  • Demonstrates the firm’s core values and aligns behavior with corporate culture.
  • Commits to community through volunteer work.
  • Must be able to interact effectively with various levels of management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; professional designations a plus (e.g., CPCU, CIC).
  • Holds appropriate Property and Casualty license.
  • Strong insurance knowledge of high-net-worth insurance.
  • 3 to 5 years of industry experience.
  • Experience with insurance company contracts and agency management systems.
  • Strong personal insurance experience with high-net-worth clients.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of relevant software.
  • Demonstrates commitment to the community.
