Field Service Technician - Remote

Overview

Milacron is seeking a Field Service Technician to provide installation, maintenance, and repair of plastic injection/extrusion equipment, requiring significant travel and customer interaction.

In Short

• 100% travel required, occasional overnight stays.
• Responsible for troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Interface effectively with customers for equipment repair.
• Install software programs on manufactured machines.
• Utilize administrative tools for travel and expense management.
• Join the Aftermarket Service Team.
• Must possess an active driver’s license.
• 2+ years of relevant service/maintenance experience required.
• Relevant associate’s degree or equivalent training preferred.

Requirements

• Ability to read mechanical blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Willingness to work overtime as necessary.
• Experience with plastic injection/extrusion equipment is a plus.
