ERP & Finance Applications Lead - Remote

Overview

Backblaze is seeking an ERP & Finance Applications Lead to own all technical and functional resources responsible for customizing and optimizing our finance platforms, including NetSuite. This role will bridge Finance leadership and technical delivery teams, ensuring systems are scalable, compliant, and aligned with business goals.

In Short

• Own the roadmap for all finance and accounting platforms.
• Partner with Finance leadership to align system capabilities with business objectives.
• Identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for automation and optimization.
• Lead internal developers and manage third-party vendor relationships.
• Direct all NetSuite customization and integrations with other systems.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and audit requirements.
• Lead system upgrades and new module implementations.
• Implement governance for change requests and release management.
• Develop and maintain documentation for processes and configurations.
• Encourage a diverse and inclusive workplace culture.

Requirements

• 5–8+ years of NetSuite administration or development experience.
• Strong understanding of finance/accounting processes.
• Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional teams.
• Expertise with SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, and NetSuite integrations.
• Experience with related finance tools.
• Background in project management or SDLC for business applications.
• NetSuite Administrator or ERP Consultant certifications.
