Senior DevOps Engineer I - Remote

Overview

As a Senior DevOps Engineer I at Back Market, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of infrastructure components and deployment tools that underpin our technology ecosystem.

In Short

• Participate in the design and development of toolings, processes, and workflow for all engineers at Back Market.
• Maintain and evolve the development and deployment tools for various projects.
• Collaborate with Product teams and QA to provide tailored solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
• Propose and implement continuous improvements to optimize existing tooling functionalities.
• Diagnose and resolve bugs, performance, and security issues.
• Optimize the performance and scalability of components.
• Lead workshops and present at Platform Chapter meetings.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Python, Bash, or Go and infrastructure tools like Kubernetes, CI/CD, and Cloud computing.
• Experience with Frontend languages and frameworks (JavaScript, TypeScript, VueJs).
• Strong interest and senior experience in CI/CD and DevOps.
• Knowledge of software architecture principles and development best practices.
• Leadership skills to guide and motivate teams.
• Excellent communication skills to explain complex concepts.
