• Build robust, easy-to-use foundational platforms and tools.
• Exemplify cloud-native site reliability best practices.
• Write performant, maintainable, clear, and concise code.
• Debug problems in cloud-native distributed systems.
• Contribute to platform features and tooling by designing APIs in Go or Python.
• Author design docs, test plans, and usage guides.
• Take calculated risks and champion new ideas.

Requirements

• 6+ years of applicable software engineering or SRE experience.
• 3+ years managing cloud platforms like Azure or AWS.
• Experience with Kubernetes platforms.
• Experience with languages like Python, Go, C#, Java.
• Utilizing CI/CD platforms for automation.
• Using observability tools for debugging.
• Designing tooling for SaaS/PaaS systems.
• Empathy to support software engineers.
