In Short

• Lead UX efforts across the TASER product pillar.
• Deliver a best-in-class approach to data visualization for TASER.
• Prioritize software UX and integrate industrial and software designs.
• Collaborate with product managers and researchers in field research.
• Produce artifacts that define and communicate your solutions.
• Communicate your solutions within the team and across the organization.
• Collaborate with feature and product teams for cohesive user experiences.
• Research design trends, customer behavior, and current technologies.
• Contribute to defining global design patterns and vision for Axon products.
• Be an ambassador and mentor for the design culture at Axon.

Requirements

• 8+ years of product design experience with 2+ years leading initiatives.
• 4+ years experience designing and shipping complete web applications.
• At least 2 years experience with hardware interaction design.
• A degree in HCI, Human Factors, Interaction Design, or related field.
• Strong conceptual & visual design skills.
• Proven track record of applying user-centered design processes.
• Experience designing for multiple form factors and modalities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledgeable of the latest design tools, proficient in Figma.
• Ability to function independently and in a collaborative team environment.
• Portfolio showcasing design and research work.
