• Convert and Ship CVML R&D ideas to Axon Products.
• Research and develop advanced MLLMs, GenAI, and Computer Vision techniques for cloud, devices and sensors.
• Design and implement efficient and scalable MLLM models for visual data analysis.
• Explore novel approaches to object detection, recognition, tracking, and scene understanding.
• Optimize algorithms for performance and energy efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineers to leverage hardware accelerators.
• Evaluate MLLM model performance using real-world datasets.
• Stay updated with research trends in computer vision and machine learning.
• Contribute to patent disclosures and academic publications.
• Mentor junior scientists.

Requirements

• PhD with 5+ years experience in Computer Science or related field.
• Track record of research excellence in machine learning and computer vision.
• Proficiency in Python, C/C++, and deep learning frameworks.
• Experience in the ML development lifecycle.
• Ability to deliver high quality models for AI projects.
• Experience in developing algorithms for resource-constrained devices.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills for presenting complex concepts.
