Associate Director, Clinical Supply - Remote

Overview

The Associate Director, Clinical Supply will drive execution of Avidity’s supply strategy across all clinical programs, providing operational leadership of materials at depots and clinical sites.

• Oversee packaging, labeling, and distribution activities for investigational drugs.
• Manage the development of study specific labels.
• Responsible for the labeling, distribution, returns, reconciliation, and destruction of supplies.
• Manage batch record review and release of clinical supplies.
• Optimize inventory levels across multiple clinical trials.
• Procurement and management of study drug and ancillary supplies.
• Manage deviations and customer complaints.
• Participate in the selection and testing of IRT systems.
• Ensure compliance with GMP documents.
• Maintain inspection readiness for labeling and distribution practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in pharmaceutical sciences, supply chain, or related field; Advanced Degree preferred.
• A minimum of 7+ years of hands-on working experience in Clinical Supply Chain.
• Experience with third-party CMOs manufacturing cGMP clinical supplies.
• Experience supplying clinical product to US, Canada, UK, EU, APAC and LATAM.
• Experience with Excel; knowledge of external clinical forecasting systems is a plus.
• Hands-on experience in global IRT systems.
• Proven collaboration skills with external providers.
• Experience with infusion-based therapies required.
• Ability to facilitate project team meetings and enhance cross-functional communication.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and travel as needed.
