Overview

Avalere Health is seeking a Vice President level candidate to join our Market Access practice, focusing on optimizing market access initiatives for healthcare products through strategic and tactical planning.

In Short

  • Develop and secure business within the life science space.
  • Manage a portfolio of clients and oversee project teams.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on reimbursement and market access issues.
  • Create strategic recommendations for optimal market access.

  • Directly manage and mentor team members.
  • Ensure timely resolution of complex client issues.
  • Analyze health policy trends and convey findings.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree in health policy or related field with 8+ years of experience.
  • 3-5 years of reimbursement-specific policy experience.
  • 5 years of management/supervisory experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills.
  • 10-15 years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Ability to establish credibility with clients as a reimbursement expert.
  • Significant project management experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytic skills.
