Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Principal Incident Response and Security Operations Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive incident response process, managing security operations, and ensuring the protection of our data and cloud environments.

In Short

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the Security Operations Response processes.
  • Lead and coordinate security operations activities, including detection, analysis, containment, eradication, and recovery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance incident detection and response capabilities.
  • Conduct post-incident reviews to identify lessons learned and improve future incident response efforts.
  • Manage and oversee security operations, including monitoring, detection, and analysis of security events.
  • Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices.
  • Provide training and guidance to the team on incident response and security operations best practices.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and mentor for junior team members.
  • Report directly to senior leadership and provide strategic insights.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in information security, with at least 5 years in a senior or principal role.
  • Proven experience in incident response and security operations.
  • Strong knowledge of data security principles, DLP, and Vulnerability Management.
  • Experience with Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM).
  • Familiarity with security frameworks and standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or GIAC are highly desirable.
