Director of COO & International Communications - Remote

Overview

We are looking for an exceptional communications leader to join Autodesk’s Global Communications team as Director, COO & International Communications. In this highly visible role, you will be the primary communications partner to our Chief Operating Officer (COO) and lead strategic communications for the COO organization.

In Short

• Serve as the strategic communications partner to the COO.
• Manage executive visibility, messaging, and internal/external communications.
• Develop and execute communications strategies globally.
• Partner with international leadership teams for localized communications.
• Create high-impact materials including speeches, presentations, and multimedia content.
• Support global initiatives with effective communication strategies.
• Provide strategic counsel on executive positioning and reputation management.
• Measure and report on communication effectiveness.
• Collaborate with various teams for consistent messaging.
• Work across global time zones with some travel required.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in executive or corporate communications.
• Exceptional writing and storytelling skills.
• Strong strategic thinking and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to synthesize complex topics into clear communications.
• Experience in change management communications.
• Proficient in executive presentation design tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Communications or related field; Master's preferred.
