Aurora is seeking a reliability engineer to join their infrastructure team, focusing on maintaining backend systems and ensuring high availability of their services.

• Split role: 80% site reliability, 20% software engineering.
• Ensure high availability and failure tolerance of infrastructure.
• Automate configuration and maintenance of software components.
• Design cloud-agnostic solutions.
• Optimize latency and throughput of pub-sub infrastructure.
• Incident management and monitoring.
• Develop CLI tools and backend services.
• Work with large scale distributed systems.
• Strong emphasis on SRE principles.

Requirements

• Experience in reliability engineering and backend systems.
• Proficiency in Golang.
• Knowledge of SDLC and continuous integration.
• Understanding of internet infrastructure services.
• Familiarity with SRE principles.
• Experience with Kubernetes ecosystem.
• Knowledge of streaming and pubsub systems.
• Experience with configuration management tools.
• Cloud services experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
