Site Reliability Engineer - Remote

Overview

Jackbox Games is looking for an exceptional Site Reliability Engineer (with Go Experience) to join our remote team.

In Short

• Instrumental in maintaining AWS-based infrastructure’s high availability, performance, and scalability.
• 70% of time focused on SRE responsibilities, managing containerized applications via ECS.
• Monitoring, incident response, and ensuring release reliability through automated testing.
• 30% of time involves building and maintaining applications in Go.
• Mentor peers in SRE practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years in SRE, DevOps, or similar roles with AWS experience.
• Strong skills in Go for backend applications.
• Proficient with AWS services, including ECS, EC2, and S3.
• Hands-on experience with ECS and Terraform.
• Experience with monitoring tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Proven experience in automated testing frameworks.
• Skilled in scripting (Go, Python, or Bash).
• Ability to guide peers in SRE and DevOps best practices.
