Application Engineer/Administrator - Remote

Overview

We are looking for multiple Application Engineer/Administrators to support our client based in The Hague, The Netherlands. This position is intended to be filled on a 100% off-site basis from anywhere within the EU.

In Short

• Application installation, configuration and administration.
• Application monitoring and performance tuning.
• Administration of security, access control, permissions.
• Writing of application procedures manuals, including troubleshooting guides.
• Application incident and problem management.
• Coordination of application support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; Master’s degree is a strong asset.
• At least 10 years of relevant work experience.
• At least 6 years of experience in mid/large IT infrastructure environments.
• At least 5 years of experience in application administration.
• At least 2 years of experience with micro-services and container orchestration.
• Excellent knowledge of software deployment management.
