Overview

As a Field Engineer at Astronomer, you will deliver world-class technical solutions to customer and prospect business problems, focusing on Apache Airflow.

In Short

  • Implement Astronomer’s software and services in large businesses.
  • Guide customers in their Apache Airflow journeys.
  • Act as the interface between Customer, Sales, and Product.

Requirements

  • Strong Kubernetes experience (GKE/EKS/AKS or OpenShift preferred).
  • Expertise in at least one programming language.
  • Good understanding of network complexities.
  • Hands-on experience with Terminal and CLI.
  • Experience with distributed systems.
  • Experience with SaaS infrastructure.
  • Experience with cloud provider API/tooling.
  • Ability to read code.
  • Work effectively with git.
  • Cloud-native data architecture experience.
